There is no hard limit, but very large batches use a lot of memory in a browser tab. Around 30 images is comfortable on most devices.
JPEG and PNG files are embedded as they are. WebP is re-encoded to PNG first because PDF has no native WebP support, which can increase the file size.
Reorder the images before creating the PDF using the up and down buttons on each thumbnail.
