Files and the data you type

The image and PDF tools process files entirely inside your browser using the canvas API, pdf-lib and PDF.js. Files are never uploaded, never stored and never seen by us. The same applies to everything you type into a calculator: the arithmetic happens on your device and the numbers are not transmitted.

What is stored on your device

One item of local storage remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme. It contains no personal information and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.

Analytics

If a Google Analytics measurement ID is configured, aggregate usage data such as page views, approximate region and device type is collected to understand which tools are useful. Analytics does not run when no measurement ID is set.

Advertising

When a Google AdSense publisher ID is configured, Google and its partners may set cookies to serve and measure ads. You can review and change your ad personalisation settings in your Google account, and you can control cookies through your browser. Ad slots are always labelled and kept separate from the tools.

Your rights

Because the tools collect no personal data, there is normally nothing for us to export or delete. For questions about analytics or advertising data, use the contact page.

Children

The site is intended for general use and is not directed at children under 13. No accounts exist and no personal information is requested anywhere on the site.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page is updated. Material changes will be noted on the homepage.
